Real discipline.
Real community.
Every kid welcome.

The WestPark Boxing Club is a program of the Ventura Youth Activities League (Y.A.L.) — teaching discipline, strength and self-confidence to kids and teens in the WestPark neighborhood, every night of the week. Boxing training was always free — Parks & Recreation hosted our classes at no cost. This year, that changed. To keep every kid's spot in the gym, we need our community's help.

Who we are

Where all
youth benefit.

Ventura Youth Activities League (Y.A.L.) is a Ventura-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 1996. Our mission is to give the youth of our area the opportunity to be involved in their community — meeting their peers, and being supported and inspired to reach their full potential as productive members of society.

From the WestPark Boxing Club to school partnerships and mentorship, every Y.A.L. program is built and run for kids in our own Ventura neighborhoods.
